The job:
Getpicd has experienced phenomenal growth since last year and at the rate we're going 2008 looks set to be an even bigger success. Because of the sheer volume of new members using our site we are now looking for freelance event photographers to join the team and be part of this exciting venture.
Main responsibility
* Visiting various events and using your great eye for shots to take pictures of revellers having a good time.
Location and hours
* Positions available across the UK
* Part-time hours on an ongoing basis
* Work a set number of hours over weekday evenings and/or weekends
The type of person we're looking for must:
* Enjoy going to events and parties!
* Own a digital SLR camera in good working order
* Be young, energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work off their own initiative
* Be flexible and willing to work at short notice
* Have access to a Mac or PC and internet access
* Able to organise, resize, rename and file photos
* Have good communications skills
Professional qualifications are not required
