Lovely spacious flat to share with a young archaeologist for
Hi there potential flatmate!
My buddy who I currently live with is moving out for the 5th of June and I need somebody to fill her shoes from that date until the 5th of August, when depending on my money situation, I shall stay or move out. So there is the possibility of extension if you decide you love the flat.
So some info about myself! I am 23y/o archaeology graduate who is new to London but enjoying it muchly. I would like to find somebody, or a couple who are friendly, are into similar things such as socialising, listening to music, and doing a bit of partying at the weekends to come and join in these activities for a few months!
Its a two bedroom ex-local authority flat, furnished with various items of retro/leftover furniture that I have picked up over the last few years so its nicely decorated, with wooden laminate floors. It has a balcony which has a little table and chair area for smoking, eating or drinking. The kitchen is nice, light and equipped with your essentials as are the bathroom and toilet. The front room is large and again a light space with a couple of sofas, TV and CD player and some reclining 70's garden chairs. And finally, the bedroom for rent is a moderate size with plenty of storage and a double futon/bed.
One of the many things I really love about the flat is that is only several minutes away from Dalston Kingsland station, seconds from Balls Pond Road where you can get buses to Victoria, Kings Cross, Piccadilly, Hackney etc. and a few minutes from Kingsland road where you can pick up buses to Liverpool Street and London bridge etc. Shoreditch, Brick Lane and Old Street are less than 25mins away on foot and 7 mins by bus. So I really love the location because its pretty close to lots of good things.
This flat is really great and very cheap for the price, and my landlord really wishes he lived here but cant for various reasons. Hes very nice too. What he would like from whoever takes the room is a GBP496 deposit and then the same price again for a months rent which is payable on the 5th of June and then again on the 5th August. And I would like somebody to share council tax and utility bills with.
