If you are interested in this auction please read the important information below. SIMPLE RULES ABOUT NUMBER PLATES
· The buyer must inform us of the name exactly as it appears on the V5 (Log Book) of the vehicle that the registration will be assigned. If in doubt please check your V5 (Log Book) before submitting details. We will then arrange for DVLA to enter this information onto the document for your new registration.
· Registration numbers cannot be used to make vehicles look younger than they actually are, for example, 'S' prefix marks can only be assigned to vehicles first registered as new on or after the 1st of August, 1998. Cannot be assigned to a 'Q' reg.
· Registration numbers must be displayed correctly. To mis-space or mis-represent your letters and numbers in any way is an offence under the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 1971.
· Under the Distance Selling Regulations we must notify you that due to the nature of the sale there is no 'cooling off period', the transaction cannot be reversed, cancelled or exchanged and no refund can be given.
· The recipient vehicle at the time of transfer must be licensed and of a testable type.
· You have an initial 12 months to assign your registration but the entitlement period can be extended shortly before expiry upon application and payment of a fee.
· Your registration can only be assigned to a vehicle, registered, or about to be registered in mainland Britain.
