We three 25 year old girls are looking for two new fun housemates to come and live with us in a large five bedroom house in hackney.
Sylvie: who works as a PA in central London. Small cute and funny with a passion for singing but don't worry, she can be silenced. :o)
Jenny: who works for a fashion footwear retailer and does provide discounts for favoured people.
Grainne: who works in finance but is nowhere near as boring as her job sounds. She will have your ribs tickled permanently if you will let her.
About the house.
It is a gorgeous large five bedroom Victorian town house on a nice quiet residential road. Lovely high ceilings, new sash double glazed windows and laminate flooring throughout. The house is just being given a bit of a paint job, it has two toilets one with just a sink and the other with a bath and shower attached. The bath is particularly special as it's a stand alone and very retro cool!
The kitchen is massive, has nice stone floors and it doesn't seem to have hardly been used with a breakfast bar that runs along one side of it. The space is open plan too with the living room (fairly small) adjacent. The kitchen opens out onto the garden which is fairly small but good for bbq's. The whole house runs over three floors and there is a cellar as well as a loft so there is plenty of storage available! (think tents for festival fun in the summer). Hackney downs station is about a four minute walk away.
MOVING IN DATE IS THE EARLIEST 17TH OF MAY AND AT THE ABSOLUTE VERY LATEST THE 24TH OF MAY. IF YOU CAN NOT MOVE IN BY THEN OR AT LEAST COVER THE RENT FROM THAT DATE THEN PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. Sorry to be strict but we can't cover the rent any longer than an extra week ourselves (we are all moving in on the 17th and have asked for a weeks extension to fill the other two rooms)
The rent is 433 a month and the deposit is the same. We need to do some more negotiating with the landlord about the furniture and decorating as some of it is missing but we are hoping he will be accommodating but if you have your own furniture that would help.
Just to mention as well we are also quite interested in getting a cleaner in once a week to help maintain the cleaning as with five people it can get a bit messy! Really sorry but we don't want any couples as it would be too many people for the size of the house.
We are looking for people (guys or girls) that will add good value to the house, are relaxed and friendly to be around and we don't want anyone that is too immature or unreliable. Everyone needs to take responsibility for things in a shared house which is important to all three of us. Think quiet chilled house in the week, party house at the weekend.
