The room has a lovely big window with a black-out blind, so you'll be able to sleep in as long as you want on the weekends. We're in zone three, which is an easy 30-minute journey to central London on the fast, reliable Northern Line. Tooting Bec is within spitting distance of the fashionable, bar-packed, shopping-packed areas of Clapham, Clapham Junction, Wimbledon, Battersea and Wandsworth. We're lucky enought to pay the cheapest council tax in London. Two-minute walk to Tesco, five-minute walk to a large Primark. Perfect for summer, the area has parks and commons galore, plus the Tooting Bec Lido (largest outdoor swimming pool in London), and the Tooting Bec Athletics Track/tennis courts.
