We require for September a Science Teacher to teach the subject at KS3 & KS4 at this very successful mixed, multi-ethnic 11-19 comprehensive school of 1,250 students. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or Newly Qualified Teacher to join this oversubscribed school.
Leadership is strong at all levels and the school shows every sign of having the capacity to improve further. This is confirmed by a significant increase in their GCSE 5A*-C pass rate which has increased by 30% over the last three years. In the most recent DCSF performance tables the school was placed in the top 10% of schools nationally for value added at Key Stage 4.
