Are you a qualified Science teacher who's got the skills and experience to teach Science up to GCSE in a vibrant and culturally diverse inner city comprehensive school set in the heart of North London in Islington?
The school is a heavily oversubscribed Technology College with 1200 pupils on roll, age range 11-16 and the post has arisen due to an internal promotion. Science is a strong department with 51% of students achieving A-C at GCSE in 2007 and 55% achieved level 5/6 in their SAT's. You will be joining a department with state of the art laboratories and a large team of 15 where the curriculum is developing rapidly.
