Senior construction manager gbp50 000


My client is looking for a senior construction manager. It involves estate regeneration, major and minor refurbishments, alterations and adaptations to existing buildings and maintenance to a range of properties. More recently it has embraced new build projects.
Typically their work is in the residential sector, either higher end or social housing, educational establishments, hospitals, public and listed buildings.
They have a large, directly employed workforce representing the main building trades, including multi-skilled operatives, supported by professional, technical and administrative staff and a training programme covering the Construction Skills Certification Scheme for the highest professional qualifications.
Materials ordering and OH&OP; negotiation
Production of Prelims document for tendering
Production of Quality contract Programmes which will stand as effective tool for EoT claims.
Quality structured EoT claims for protection of LAD's and prolongation costs.
Loss and expense claims based on item above
Production of standard sub contract documents with back-to-back responsibility to the main contract. LAD's
Package tendering and negotiation.
Procurement schedule and IRS.
Management of sites and co-ordination of works for efficient programming and progress.
Management of sub contractors – orders programme progress invoicing approval quality control
Design management and co-ordination with Architect / Engineer / consultants.
Information management – drawings request / information interpretation and correction / communication to subcontractors.
Monthly valuations and negotiation.
Marketing meetings
Production of Tender documents Programmes / Cost plans / Method statements / tender CSA pricing
communication of orders and invoicing
Control of materials purchasing
Labour resoucing and procurement.
