Junior surveyor
My client is a niche market player specialising in both commercial and residential investment and development. Their aim is the increase the volume of their commercial portfolio with income generating assets and they purchase and build properties to meet this objective. They are looking for an astute junior surveyor, with cost management/ "number crunching" to join their team.
You will be working in an informal environment alongside the managing director and the architectural team. This position offers a variety of surveying duties, principally investment & development assessments for all their property acquisitions and assisting in the financial control of current, ongoing projects. Other duties include:
- Project management
- Contract administration
- Producing budget costs
- Analysis of tenders
- Condition surveys
- Planning and building regulations submissions

The ideal candidate will have a couple of years experience and be ambitious and self motivated with strong communication and organisational skills. Experience of Circle would be an advantage.
