Business development manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-established, profitable, construction business, specialising in Media fit outs and refurbishment. This is the creation of a new role to develop new account focus. You duties will include:
· Considered plans to exploit and grow new areas of construction and fit out across diverse retail, developer and commercial clients.
· To realise achievable, ambitious growth targets.
· Spearhead new business proposition.
· Develop new clients and manage existing ones with responsibility for identifying and winning profitable new business across all commercial and residential construction areas.
You need to have an outstanding track record in identifying and delivering new business, coupled with proven, long-standing and fruitful account management pedigree.
You need a strong construction background, combining business development flair with understanding of technical and operational pre-requisites.
They are looking for a consummate business professional, with keen understanding of clients' build requirements. You must be results driven and energetic team player, with entrepreneurial zeal.
With an existing client base in place, they need that special person who can develop their business that extra furlong. With many existing partnering arrangements in place, the successful candidate needs to develop these existing relationships as well as introduce new or resurrect forgotten ones.

This role will offer a competitive basic salary plus commission.
