Site foreman
A fantastic opportunity for a Construction Project Manager has become available in a growing property development company based in Central London (W1). The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience on both high-spec commercial fit-out and high-end residential refurbishment projects. The candidate will be involved in the following:
· Liaising with the client, interpreting the brief and overseeing and managing all pre contract roles
· Tendering and appointing consultants
· Implementing and advising the client on additional legislative requirements including CDM responsibilities, asbestos management, as well as advising on procurement route
· Organizing consultant bid and contractor appointments
· Managing the final design for tender and construction
· To oversee the contracts manager in managing the contractual setup, review and confirmation of construction period with the contractor
· To oversee quality surveyor in managing monthly valuations and project costs
· Implementing strategies to keep target completion dates and budgets
· Reviewing upcoming projects and programme resources
· The role also requires the management of Project Consultants, Contracts Managers, Site Managers, Site Foremen, purchasing and supply department as well as arranging monthly site meetings and overseeing of general work progress.
Candidate:
Good team player, and ability to motivate yourself and others is essential. Must be suitably qualified, from RICS, RIBA, Trade (CSCS) or similar background. Salary will be partly performance related.
